I just finished banging out over 1700 words for the first chapter of my NaNoWriMo story. I want to write more. There are so many more nuances hinted at by the spread it's based on that I'd need at least another thousand to do it justice. But they'd also have to be shoe horned into the scene something fierce. Go read it, if you have some time, and let me know what you think.
For the names of the companies (British Implimentations and Diversified Research Engineering), I once again turned to Seventh Sanctum's generators. I'll be using them a lot.
There was also some interesting research on badgers and how they live that I didn't have a chance to work into the main story yet, but will certainly come into play. (That was, of course, inspired by the particularities of the Tarot deck I'm using and the fact that the Page of Shields has a badger on it.)
The latin motto of BI, "Knowledge, Compassion and Determination", was generated using The Latin Motto Generator. And the word count was made by a quick copy and paste into The Word Count Tool (I figure as long as I'm doing this online, I may as well do everything online, right?)
Now, I need to sleep, since I can't just take the whole month off to write, I've still got to go to work and pay the bills.
